Quimper is tin enamel-glazed earthenware pottery often referred to as Faience. Originally produced in the late 1600s in Northern France, some Quimper factories are still operating today.

These smooth, practical and decorative pieces depict hand painted scenes of peasants, either a male or female figure surrounded by stylized flowers.
